About
I'm a Wisconsin gal, born and raised, so naturally, my first choice for college was UW-Madison. I'm grateful I got to experience college and post-graduate life in Madison, but am especially grateful to be able to get new experiences in my new home, San Luis Obispo, California!
I obtained my degrees in Journalism, Spanish, and Digital Studies/Social Media from UW-Madison in the Spring of 2019, and since then have become skilled in copywriting, copy editing, and social media content creation and mapping. I have worked a lot with Spanish, as I have written work and translated many things between Spanish and English. I've also been introduced to other areas in the marketing field along the way, such as project management and coordination, and account management. I have worked in an office setting before, and am currently enjoying remote work -- but am open to a creative, collaborative work environment either way!
In my spare time I like to stay active as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer, and through the last 6+ seasons of the NCAA sport, I have enjoyed volunteering for the UW-Madison Wrestling team. Using my knowledge of the sport and the Trackwrestling platform, I worked with the communications department to provide live stat updates during the home matches! I just wrapped up my time with the Badgers wrestling team prior to my move, and will so greatly miss being involved in the sport and it's programs. I will always seek the opportunity to work with wrestling again, as it would be a dream job for sure!

Being a bilingual company with the majority of their market being Spanish-speakers, it has been a great opportunity to enhance my fluency.
Portuguese
Partially fluent in Portuguese. I studied the language in reading, writing, listening and speaking for two whole years during my undergraduate college education.
"Out of Office" Interests
I wrote "Out of Office" in quotes because for me, my working life and passions often intersect, which is why I hold so many concurrent jobs.
Below are listed some things that I do off-the-clock but help me in my different fields:

Personal photography. I was an amateur photography assistant for JandJDoubleTake Photography for several years and still occasionally help out.

Reading. I think this is one of the best ways to improve your own writing. Learn from those who came before you!

Crafting. I love to cross-stitch, create resin art projects, paint and create carpentry projects. I love Halloween and am known to hand-make my own costumes! (Halloween 2019 as Zelda)

Avid fan for the sport of NCAA wrestling. (If there's wrestling happening within an hour of where I live, I'm typically there!)

Fitness. Given that I hold certifications and am a Fitness Professional, this is no surprise. I love weightlifting, running, swimming, biking, roller skating and wrestling.
